Another Love Series, Book Two

What was supposed to be a one night stand leads them to a place they never thought they’d be.

Lyric Jackson is more than satisfied with her rolodex of men and women to warm her bed, with no room for feelings. For nine years, she has found comfort with her editing job, apartment with her best friend, and being away from home which holds reminders of her father’s passing.

When Lyric gets a call about her mom's health scare, she decides to return home. She sees the move as a chance to embrace new opportunities. However, she is forced to face everything she's been avoiding: writing, grief, and... love.

With Summer Break ahead, Drew Brown only has plans for one thing: painting to his heart’s content before another school year. A chance meeting during a night at the karaoke bar ends in a rendezvous in the sheets with Lyric. A night with a woman he can’t stop thinking about.

While Lyric plans on leaving that night as it was, Drew plans to make it more than just a one night stand. He goes into full pursuit to show Lyric things she’s never experienced romantically: understanding, attention, and his heart.

But can Lyric let go of pains of the past to embrace the love that awaits her right here at home?
