Meisha earned a bachelors in English with a concentration in Writing before returning home to become a teacher. She gained plenty of accolades during her teaching career, including a masters degree in education. However, years in the classroom and a pandemic lead her to  realize a childhood dream: to become an author. 

She currently still works in education and takes on occasional opportunities to do freelance editing.
